In an almost serendipitous blend of destiny and circumstance, Kerri Johnson, Ashley Lessard & Rhonda, Amy & Steve Collins (authors, contributors, coordinators) & Cheyenne Welch (illustrator) find themselves united across borders, spanning two countries and four US states. This debut collaboration, in the realm of young children's literature, marks the inception of a planned series, driven by a collective dedication to education, community enrichment, and the transformative power of storytelling. With Cheyenne’s artistic vision adorning the narrative, the aspiration is to do more than entertain; aiming to captivate young minds and ignite within them a sense of amazement, interest & boundless potential.   

This book serves as a catalyst for change & partners with Stevenson Elementary, a small neighborhood school within the Mesa Public School District. With commercial success, a donation of real significance will assist in breathing new life into the corridors of this Title 1 school, reimagining its academic landscape, rewarding its teacher population & nurturing the dreams of its K-6 student population.

With an emphatic belief in how profound the impact of education is, so too does the project aim to transcend the mere confines of enjoyable family reading time, urging change that will ripple beyond its pages. As a novel collaboration between business, its local & online communities, & an increasingly pressured education sector, we hope to set a new benchmark for collective impact, opportunity engagement & local empowerment.
